Curatorial Premise · Season 01

The Index Annual is not a replica of the site. It is the House record for what endures in women’s culture this season. Each admission is chosen with care and intention—against Form, Substance, and Provenance. This codex holds what is final for the year and how it belongs in a considered life.

Edition Governance

  • Edition size: Announced in the House Ledger when the window opens.
  • Admission integrity: Editorial selections are independent. Underwriting is credit-only and does not influence selection, order, or copy.
  • Price disclosure: Price is stated on the invoice during the allocation window.
  • Restrictions: No resale until the ship window has closed. Founder’s Proofs are not for resale.

Edition Classes

  • Standard Edition (SE): The public run available by request during the allocation window.
  • Founder’s Proofs (FP): A very small run held by the House and allocated to the season underwriter as credit. Marked in the colophon. Not for resale.
  • Printer’s Proofs (PP): Internal quality control copies retained by the House. Not circulated.
